The approximate amount of the dispute was USD 200 million.
  • Spanish investor in two administrative litigation proceedings against the Comptroller General of the State, related to a contract signed in 2011 with the Ministry of Public Health to improve hospital equipment and infrastructure in the Amazon region. The amount of the proceedings amounts to USD 180 million.
  • Ecuadorian private bank in two claims for alleged moral damages caused by reports to the Credit Bureau of the Superintendency of Banks. The disputes amount to approximately USD 11 million.
  • Technology provider in an administrative dispute with the Comptroller General of the State related to a contract with the Judicial Council to develop an electronic case management system in Ecuador, where the Comptroller issued a disallowance for the total value of the contract despite certification of compliance. The approximate amount of the dispute is USD 24 million.
  • Spanish investor in a vicarious liability dispute filed by a steel company in connection with the construction of the Quito Metro.
