Ramón Paz y Miño is a senior associate at CorralRosales. He has more than 10 years of experience in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Banking and Finance and Public Contracting, as well as in the Energy & Natural Resources Insurance and Real Estate sectors.

Ramón’s heads the areas of Litigation, Corporate Law and Public Procurement in the Guayaquil offices of CorralRosales.

In the area of ​​Dispute Resolution, Ramón provides legal counsel and represents clients in administrative, judicial and arbitration proceedings. He actively participates in the definition of litigation strategies and is the leader of a group of attorneys focused on handling and defending claims related to users’ and consumers’ rights.

In the area of ​​Public Procurement, he provides advice in negotiations and in the development of strategies to prevent controversies or to reduce their impact.

In the area of ​​Natural Resources, Ramón participates in negotiations with the regulatory authorities and the communities involved, as well as in regulatory compliance processes.

Over time, Ramón has also participated in administrative, contractual, commercial and labor issues, making him a very well-rounded attorney, capable of providing global legal counsel to his clients.

Ramón is a graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, with graduate studies in Financial, Securities and Insurance Law at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Ecuador branch). He also has a Master’s Degree in Procedural Law from Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) and a Diploma in Securities Market from the same university.
