David González Aroca is an associate at CorralRosales. He is part of the Intellectual Property litigation group.

David has more than 9 years of experience in Intellectual Property, Litigation, Administrative and Constitutional Law.

His experience includes the creation and development of integral litigation strategies, dispute resolution, judicial and extrajudicial representation, monitoring, control and surveillance of administrative proceedings and judicial processes, alternative dispute resolution, counseling, and development of regulations for public entities.

He has participated as a speaker on intellectual property issues in national and international forums organized by different organizations such as IP Key LA, Wayusa Participativa, Fútbol al Derecho and Universities, as well as being interviewed in several broadcasting and radio stations nationwide.

He was a delegate from Ecuador for the local IP Office (SENADI) in the IV Forum of Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights held in Asuncion – Paraguay and organized by DINAPI, INTA and ASIPI.

He led one of the drafting commissions of the Regulation to the Organic Code of the Social Economy of Knowledge, Creativity, and Innovation (COESCCI) called Regulation of Knowledge Management.

He served as Legal Director and Advisor of the local IP Office (SENADI), where he was successful in 90% of cases of judicial representation. He also served as Head of Litigation in several law firms in Ecuador.

Graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador as attorney, and from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar as Senior Specialist in Procedural Law, he also has taken several courses on intellectual property, administrative and constitutional law.
