Bio

Verónica is an associate at  CorralRosales. She works in the areas of Regulatory and Environmental Law. Her work in the regulatory area includes addressing inquiries about companies’ regulatory matters, as well as advising, consulting, and representing clients in administrative disputes before health authorities.

In the environmental field, she addresses issues related to single-use plastics, circular economy, and extended producer responsibility.

Verónica has extensive experience in public affairs, focusing on the development of public policy that promote urban environmental management, the elimination of single-use plastics, and the circular economy. She also has expertise in designing and implementing projects in the environmental and sustainability fields.

She served as Deputy Director of the Department of Environment and Green Areas for the Municipality of Guayaquil, where she led the implementation of the city’s climate agenda, the regularization of grassroots recyclers, and the preservation of natural areas.

She was also the Legal Director of the Ecuadorian Business Committee, where she collaborated with various productive sectors in the country to support economic development.

Verónica is a lawyer from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, holds a Master’s in Energy from the University of Buenos Aires, and is a specialist in public policy on climate change from FLACSO.
