Bio

Rafaella is part of the Corporate and Arbitration team at CorralRosales. Her practice focuses on assisting companies in legal consultations on day-to-day corporate matters. She assists in incorporations, structuring and restructuring of companies, spin-offs, mergers, financing transactions, among others. She also assists in corporate due diligence processes in the framework of local and international mergers and acquisitions.

In the field of arbitration, she assists in the elaboration of strategies for the prevention and resolution of disputes in international and domestic proceedings.

Rafaella obtained her law degree with summa cum laude honors from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. During her studies, she worked as a teaching assistant in the courses of Theory of the Legal Norm, Family Law, Constitutional Law, State and Society and Logic and Argumentation; was Editor in Chief of the USFQ Law Review; participated in international academic projects for the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights; and has publications on Constitutional Law, International Arbitration and Human Rights. Her thesis focused on the legal nature of the clean hands doctrine in International Investment Arbitration.
