Christian Razza is an Associate at CorralRosales, bringing over six years of experience in data protection, technology, cybersecurity, competition law, consumer protection, sustainability, and environmental law.
In the area of data protection, Christian advises clients on implementing compliance programs, managing international data transfers, handling sensitive data, drafting internal policies, negotiating data processing agreements, and conducting regulatory compliance audits. His expertise in technology and cybersecurity includes leading legal strategies for Fintech environments, digital markets, and technological risk management, encompassing legal frameworks for digital innovation.
Within environmental law, Christian provides legal counsel on environmental management projects, regulatory compliance, and socio-environmental responsibility. He has collaborated with both public and private sectors, integrating legal perspectives with sustainable strategies and possessing in-depth knowledge of environmental legislation, climate change, and circular economy principles.
In competition and consumer law, Christian offers legal solutions ranging from administrative and civil litigation to preventive advice on economic concentration authorizations, investigations into market power abuse, anti-competitive practices, and unfair competition, at both national and community levels.
Prior to joining CorralRosales, Christian developed his career at prominent law firms and companies in Ecuador, as well as at the Superintendence of Economic Competition, where he served as a lawyer and later as National Director of Economic Concentration Control. He also conducted research at the University of Barcelona in data protection and competition law. Academically, he is a professor of data protection at the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador and an assistant professor in master’s programs at the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial. He has authored various national and international academic publications on competition, sustainability, and data protection, impacting both Europe and Latin America.
Christian holds a law degree from Universidad de las Américas, is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Barcelona, and earned a Master’s in Advanced Legal Studies from the same institution. Additionally, he holds a Master’s in Intellectual Property, Competition, and New Technologies from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. He is certified as a lead implementer and auditor of ISO 27001:2022 and has completed diplomas in Free Competition (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and Personal Data Protection Management (Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar).
