Chester Salazar is a Senior Associate at CorralRosales. He has over 10 years of experience advising national and international clients in the aviation and airport industry on regulatory, corporate, and contractual matters.
In the aviation sector, he advises passenger and cargo airlines, as well as airport operators and service providers, on all aspects related to the initiation and development of operations in Ecuador. His experience includes certification processes, obtaining and amending operating permits, approval of commercial agreements, and negotiation of financing, purchase, and lease contracts for aircraft.
Throughout his career, Chester has led complex processes before the civil aviation authority. Among his most notable achievements is the certification and launch of a domestic airline during the pandemic, a milestone that significantly strengthened air connectivity in Ecuador during a particularly challenging period for the industry.
Chester is involved in specialized associations such as the Colombian Aeronautical Law Association (CADA), where he serves as Regional Manager, and the Association of National Aviation Companies (ADENA, Ecuador), where he is a board member.
He holds a law degree from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito and has completed multiple specialized diplomas in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Airport Law from internationally recognized institutions.
