Bio

Andrea Miño is an associate at CorralRosales. She has a decade of experience in the areas of Administrative Law, Intellectual Property and Administrative Litigation.

Andrea is the Head of the National and International Administrative Litigation department. Her practice includes providing legal counsel to local and international clients in appeals, cancellation and nullity actions, as well as ordinary and extraordinary administrative recourses. She also heads the Breeding’s Rights Department. This activity is complemented with the management of a wide range of procedures before the IP Office.

She is a graduate from the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, she studied for a Master’s degree in Patents, Trademarks and Intellectual Property from the University of Barcelona and OBS Business School and Master’s degree in Procedural Law from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. She is currently cursing an Academic Master in Digital Economy Law at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar.

Her experience in the field of Intellectual Property covers private, public and supranational areas. She served as an intern of the Bolivian office of the Andean Court of Justice, carrying out draft Preliminary Interpretations for Intellectual Property procedures; she worked also at Ecuadorian IP Office, where she was in charge of substantiating and resolving administrative procedures, becoming then part of the Legal Department of this Institution.

She has written several articles on Intellectual Property which have been published in international magazines and she has been mentioned in various legal directories.
