Juan Martín Chávez is an associate of the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of Personal Data Protection, Technology and Environment.
Juan Martín advises clients on the implementation of data protection programs, preparation of internal policies, terms and conditions, privacy notices, data processing agreements, and compliance audits.
In the Environmental area, Juan Martín advises clients on compliance with environmental permitting requirements, as well as on compliance with environmental obligations and administrative procedures. Additionally, in the environmental area he handles issues related to hazardous waste, circular economy and extended producer responsibility.
Prior to joining CorralRosales, Juan Martín acquired experience representing clients in administrative sanctioning proceedings, and in judicial proceedings before the District Court of Administrative Disputes.
Juan Martín is a lawyer from Universidad San Francisco de Quito where he graduated with cum laude honors, and he is also certified as a mediator by the same university. In addition, he is Vice-President of the Environmental Law table and member of the Data Protection and Technology table of the “Young Ecuadorian Attorneys” commission of the International Chamber of Commerce.
