Francisco Gallegos is a partner at CorralRosales. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the intellectual property, commercial, competition, corporate and government procurement areas. His multidisciplined career trajectory and combined experience, having advised clients in a wide variety of areas and jurisdictions, have earned him a significant reputation in the distribution and services, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, real estate, retail and TMT industries.

In the field of intellectual property, Francisco manages several portfolios of international companies at both the local and regional level. In addition, Francisco oversees due diligence and negotiations, as well as the acquisition and sale of intellectual property assets. He actively participates in representing clients in both administrative and judicial procedures.

In the commercial, corporate and government procurement areas, Francisco advises companies and individuals on contractual matters as well as international operations. He is entrusted by several foreign companies with their Ecuadorian and Latin American operations, recognizing both his technical profile and his soft skills, that allow him to interact effectively with other individuals and institutions and visualize the risks involved in making decisions.

Francisco also advises his clients on compliance with the relevant competition regulations, particularly in administrative and judicial processes related to intellectual property and unfair business practices. His advice in competition matters combines knowledge of the specific regulations with real legal and commercial experience.

Francisco actively participates in IP forums and events and is a regular contributor to national and international publications on various legal issues.

Francisco is a Juris Doctor, having studied at Universidad Central del Ecuador and Business Law at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar.
